WGA offer a fixed fee initial appointment for all family matters in the sum of £100 plus VAT - £120 including VAT.

Divorce

We offer a fixed fee divorce of £625 (plus VAT, plus Court fee) if you are the Petitioner.  If you are the Respondent in the divorce proceedings (i.e. the person receiving the Divorce Petition from your spouse) we charge a fixed fee of £325 plus VAT to act on your behalf. Total costs would be as follows:

Financial Matters

We sometimes offer a fixed fee structure. However, sometimes it is appropriate to discuss fees directly with you, when it becomes necessary to go to Court to resolve matrimonial finances – i.e. how the matrimonial home, other assets, debts and pensions should be dealt with.

Children

Sometimes it becomes necessary to start Court proceedings to decide where children should live and how much time they should spend with each parent.  It may also be necessary to begin Court proceedings to decide on issues such as which school a child should attend, whether one parent be allowed to re-locate with a child or change his or her surname.  To act on either party’s behalf, to include representation at the First Hearing (locally) our fees will be up to £3,500 plus VAT (£4,200 including VAT).  In addition, you may need to pay the Court fee (as from the 30^th September 2021) of £232.

Cohabitation / Post or Pre-Nuptial / Separation Agreement

To draft a Cohabitation Agreement, a Pre or Post Nuptial Agreement, or a Separation Agreement, our charges start at £1000 plus VAT (£1200 including VAT).  Costs may be higher than this depending on the level of work involved and complexity, however this will be outlined to you if this is the case at the start of your matter.
